OUR NET ZERO STRATEGY

Net Zero by 2030
aconnic has committed to achieving climate neutrality (Net Zero) by 2030.
- reduction of operational emissions
- improvement in energy efficiency
- decarbonization of energy consumption
- improvement of supply chain sustainability
- reduction of indirect Scope 3 emissions
Where emissions cannot yet be fully avoided, complementary compensation and carbon removal approaches may be applied.

SUSTAINABILITY IN OPERATIONS AND SUPPLY CHAIN
A significant share of emissions originates within the upstream and downstream value chain.
For this reason, aconnic increasingly focuses on sustainable procurement practices, supplier ESG integration, logistics optimization and responsible sourcing approaches.
The company is currently further developing supplier evaluation frameworks and ESG-related procurement standards to strengthen sustainability across the supply chain.
Scope 3 emissions remain one of the key focus areas for the coming years.

Our Sustainability Report
in accordance with the VSME Standard
Sustainability is a central component of our corporate strategy. With our VSME Sustainability Report, we disclose our environmental, social, and governance-related activities on an annual basis.
The report is based on the VSME Standard (Voluntary Sustainability Reporting Standard for SMEs), which was developed by EFRAG. It is specifically designed for small and medium-sized enterprises and provides a clear and comparable framework for sustainability information – going beyond the minimum legal requirements.
For aconnic AG, this report is an important tool to:
- ensure transparency towards customers, partners, and employees,
- make our progress towards climate neutrality by 2030 visible,
- and strengthen stakeholder trust through measurable ESG indicators.
