Hello, I am Sarah!
Currently  I am being trained as an industrial clerk at aconnic. Before I started my apprenticeship at aconnic, I had tried my hand in another professional field. During my first apprenticeship, I became more and more aware of the fact that my economic interest is enormously strong. Even as a child, I sat at a desk and pretended to talk to different people on the phone. I simply feel comfortable at the computer and on the phone and look forward every day to learning new things and working on exciting tasks. I am also very grateful that my goal of successfully completing my training is actively supported here at aconnic.

At aconnic, I started in the warehouse and incoming goods department to get to know the products first. After that I changed to the order processing area and currently I am active in the development area. I am really looking forward to my future at aconnic and I am proud to be able to work with such a great team.

Working in all departments

So that our commercial trainees get to know the company, the employees and, above all, the processes and tasks, they work in many different departments during their training period.

Internal & external exam preparation

Our trainees get optimally prepared for the final exam in the third year of their apprenticeship. In addition, they will receive a direct, specialized contact person from the company for processing the subject-specific task.

Regular feedback meetings

It is important to us that our trainees feel comfortable with us. That is why we speak openly about your needs and the further course of the training in regular feedback meetings.

Own projects

We want trainees to be able to make their contribution to the company. Therefore, they often get their own internal projects. In this way, they take on responsibility at an early stage and learn to prioritize their working day independently.

Own Laptop

Our trainees receive their own laptop during the entire training period. You take this with you to every department. You can also use the laptop at home, for example to do tasks for vocational school.

Public transport

Our trainees can easily reach our headquarters in Hartmannsdorf using public transport. A bus stop is right in front of the building.

You find numbers exciting! The marketing of products has long appealed to you! You want to help coordinate the individual elements along the supply chain behind a product! You are interested in processes and organizations! Take your chance and become an all-rounder or specialist in business.

Your practical training in the company
  • You will pass through numerous departments, such as purchasing, logistics, production control, marketing, and sales as well as finance and accounting.
  • In the purchase department, you will learn how to determine the demand for articles and to store them.
  • You create orders for production and ensure the quality of the products.
  • In marketing, you contribute to the organization of trade fairs and creatively design social media content.
  • You are responsible for checking incoming and outgoing invoices and for posting them in the system.
Your theoretical training at the vocational school
  • During your training at the company, you will attend school at regular intervals for several weeks at a time.
  • At school, you will learn the theory behind the tasks taught in the company.
  • You will be taught the basis conditions of your vocational training, including legal standards and the contents of training contracts.
  • You will analyze and evaluate value-added processes using calculations and margin accounting.
  • You will evaluate important key figures from balance sheets and prepare the annual financial statements.
  • You plan investment and financing processes and get familiar with economic contexts

Your profile
  • You have a Secondary school leaving certificate or high school diploma and good basic mathematical knowledge
  • You enjoy working on the PC and already know a little about MS Office.
  • As a first contact and linguistic business card you can express yourself well on the phone.
  • You are fluent in written and spoken German and English, other foreign languages are an advantage.
  • With a quick perception and great curiosity, you are eager to learn new things.
  • Personally, you score with your ability to work in a team and your courage to come up with new ideas.

Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems (d/f/m)

“Hi, I am Christopher!
I finished my training as an electronics technician for devices and systems at aconnic in August 2020. Now I am working as a test technician. I’ve always been interested in technical things. I wanted to know how everything is related and how it works. In my job I can do exactly what I always imagined: half of my work is theoretical and the other half is very practical. The theoretical tasks largely consist of collecting information in order to use it to write work instructions for our employees in the test field. It becomes practical when I set about rebuilding and setting up the test equipment that will be used. I love the challenges that arise with the technologies in the test field. Errors can occur from time to time, for example in the process of creating circuit boards. It is then up to me to locate these errors and work out how they can be remedied. So I can always bring in my own ideas and actively help to solve problems.”

Additional training at BWC

In addition to their practical training at aconnic, our technical trainees have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge at the Bildungswerkstatt Chemnitz.

Training corner for all trainees

So that our trainees get to know each other better and can exchange ideas regularly, a separate training corner is available to linger.

Complete work clothes provided

Special protective clothing is required to be able to work in the production area. This is provided by aconnic for every technical trainee.

Own projects

In order to give our trainees responsibility at an early stage, we start our own technical projects that the trainees implement together.

Your practical training in the company
  • In addition to your training in our training corner, you will pass through numerous departments in the company, such as: different production areas, warehouse, and quality management as well as technology.
  • You work on the realization of production orders in for devices and assemblies.
  • You check our products in the customer service and work on repairs and maintenance of devices.
  • You create production documents and independently produce samples and individual pieces.
Your theoretical training at the vocational school
  • During your training at the company, you will attend school at regular intervals for several weeks at a time.
  • At school, you will learn the theory, parallel to the tasks taught in the company.
  • You analyze electrotechnical systems and test their functions.
  • You design assemblies and connect them to the devices.
  • You program test systems and apply them to the assemblies and devices.
  • You determine the power flow for devices and systems and ensure their safety.
