Carolin

Master thesis | Value Chain Management

I am Carolin and I am working as Head of Digitalization at aconnic. Before I studied Economics at the Technical University in Chemnitz. But I didn’t want to be satisfied with that and immediately started to study a master’s degree. With the subject “Value Chain Management” I decided on a practical study option with which I can then move proactively in the private sector. For the preparation of my master’s thesis, in which I dealt a lot with CRM systems, it was important to find a competent practice partner. So, I sent an unsolicited application to aconnic and was promptly welcomed as a working student.

Here I ended up in the back office department, where working with CRM systems is important every day. I was given active support and my colleagues were always on hand to answer any questions. It was nice to see how much support I get. So, after I was able to finish my work here in the company, I was welcomed directly into the team as a permanent employee. It was then my direct job to deal with the CRM systems used here and ultimately to take responsibility for the internal system. Since then, I have gained a lot of experience in the digitization of business processes and have been given the opportunity to take responsibility for this important area at aconnic.

The colleagues gave me a warm welcome to the team from day one. The feeling of being directly involved and being given responsibility for one’s own project shows that there is a certain amount of trust. In addition, my department was always at my side with advice and action, which really made my start easier.
