aconnic AG (ISIN: DE000A0LBKW6), Munich, announces the market launch of the ACCEED 4430, a high-density 10-Gigabit aggregation system. It was developed to meet the immediate market demand for scalable and cost-efficient 1G service aggregation in access and metro networks.
The ACCEED 4430 is based on the already well proven existing ACCEED 4630 architecture, and features four 10 Gigabit (SFP+) interfaces and 24 Gigabit interfaces. The ACCEED 4430 offers a very cost-efficient aggregation use case.
The ACCEED 4430 is being deployed at a major customer in Mexico and supports the ongoing fiber-optic expansion as well as the aggregation of large volumes of mid-bandwidth enterprise and business services. Following this initial implementation, the system will be available worldwide.
There are still millions of business services in the range of 2 Mbit/s to 100 Mbit/s deployed that require an infrastructure modernization and fiber-optic expansion with higher port density, simplified aggregation architectures, improved cost efficiency and remain the service in operation. The ACCEED 4430 meets those requirements
Thanks to full platform and software consistency based on the aconnic AOS Carrier Ethernet software within the ACCEED family, the ACCEED 4430 simplifies homologation processes and reduces operational and integration risks for customers.
The ACCEED 4430 is fully supported by the MetroIntegrator Network Management System, ensuring centralized configuration, provisioning, and monitoring within existing network management frameworks. This enables operators to expand 1G capacity, maintain operational continuity, and minimize implementation complexity.
With the launch of the ACCEED 4430, aconnic is strengthening its position in modernization projects for access and metro networks, offering operators for critical communication networks a solution for high density aggregating that balances scalability, cost-efficiency, and platform stability in evolving fiber-based infrastructures.
