aconnic AG (ISIN: DE000A0LBKW6), Munich, is increasing capacity and ramping up production for the new 10 Gigabit Carrier Ethernet system ACCEED 4104 following multiple successfully completed customer system verifications in Germany, Italy and Austria.
The new ACCEED 4104 10 Gigabit system is the first fully software configurable aconnic system providing an upgrade path from 1 Gigabit to 10 Gigabit including dual power supply and SyncE and PTP functionality on one single hardware.
The ACCEED 4104 will carry MEF/Mplify Carrier Ethernet certification and will replace the existing high volume Carrier Ethernet systems ACCEED 2102 and 2104 from aconnic and an alternative to the ACCEED 4404 reducing costs for 10 Gigabit roll-out but up to 50%.
The new ACCEED 4104 is fully supported by the aconnic MetroIntegrator Network Management System and offers NetConf integration options into existing customer network management and provisioning systems.
The ACCEED 4104 engineered in Europe and Made in Germany and fulfils the EU commission requirements for strategic technology autonomy and the recent released cyber security package for trusted application of communication systems in critical industry sectors.
It is designed for communication service providers and enterprises requiring scalable, high-performance network infrastructure. The system enables flexible feature activation via software licenses, allowing networks to be installed today and expanded later as bandwidth requirements grow. This approach supports a seamless transition to higher speeds while maintaining service quality and optimizing total cost of ownership. Incremental upgrades reduce upfront investment, while 10 Gigabit scalability can be achieved without additional hardware. Dynamic service provisioning based on customer demand further supports efficient network operation and service differentiation.
